I shouldn't have looked at this thread because I am now on the verge of spending 100 bucks at Studio McVey (which is like 3 figs)

This company makes some amazing models, this Teutonic Knights is probably my favorite.

I have to say, I really like some of the stuff offered at Heresy Miniatures. They're not on par with sculpts like the crazy-good templar above, but they do produce awesomely unique models like this:

Imagine the feeling when you position your tanks, engines idling, landing gear deployed for a low profile, with firing solutions along a key bottleneck. Then some fether lands a dreadnought behind them in a giant heat shielded coke can.
