There are alot of wonderful moddels out there. I fell in love with the Easterlings moddels years ago, but for the moment this have to be my favorit for the moment

Trish Carden's Carmine Dragon http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer/Warhammer_Monsters/CARMINE_DRAGON.html Needs some paint, but is still a hundred times better than any other dragon I have seen on the market, including GW's.

The old metal Confrontation minis have to be some of the best ever done.
As far as GW, The Green Knight and the Khorne Lord on Juggernaut are quite excellent.

Reading this thread makes me want to paint the Rackham minis I have stashed. So make great looking figs in all of the factions. Only company that has gotten close to same level of consistently great figs since then is Corvus Belli with Infinity.

I think the new Ogres are some of the best models Ive ever seen.
Also, the Space Hulk Terminators blew me away when I compared them to my AOBR ones.

Have you seen the 2nd Edition Gretchen? Okay, maybe I am going for quantity over quality, but thanks to this little guy anyone with an eBay account can churn out an army of thousands...
Okay, okay, on a more serious note, I love the TreeWoman by Ultraforge. Would love to acquire one of these (though I am not sure my painting skills could ever do this lady justice).

They were bought up by an investment group, canned all their wonderfully sculpted minis in favour of some crappy pre-painted plastic miniatures, made some horrible PR decisions, and essentially ran themselves into the ground.
