Ok here is a bit of an update. Between teaching evening college classes, my day job, and family I have not gotten a ton of time to paint yet this week. So, here is some work that I have put into a test painting of a warrior. I think he has a really nice rich purple look with the vibrant yellow seen on my venom, which will go well with the rest of the army as I work through it all.

I did not look at it that way, but I agree they do have that look to them.

Nice colour scheme - I(d consider blacklining the eyes, but that's about it! Hope it'll grow on your wife

Well I am not quite committed to the eyes at this point. I think the green eyes stand out a lot so I might do a dark green then work my way to a white/bright green in there.
