Yes indeed.
Its gotta be painted on or something, that **** was too perfect. TOO perfect. I'd have that every day if I could. Yeah, I'd be that guy.
I mean really, out of all the other ridiculous Capitol people, that dude had STYLE.
Exactly. Call him a bastard, but damn did he have style.
Which is funny. Everyone in the capitol except him, Snow and Cinna look like clowns. Which means they'd be the odd ones out.

But only awesome crimes like bushranging and, if I understand the song correctly, sheep stealing and suicide. |

If you read the book the point is that he really cares for her and she doesn't give a dang, she throws on the act for the games. But that's kind of hard to pull off in cinema without the inner dialogue the book provides.

And so, due to rising costs of maintaining the Golden Throne, the Emperor's finest accountants spoke to the Demigurg. A deal was forged in blood and extensive paperwork for a sub-prime mortgage with a 5/1 ARM on the Imperial Palace. And lo, in the following years the housing market did tumble and the rate skyrocketed leaving the Emperor's coffers bare. A dark time has begun for the Imperium, the tithes can not keep up with the balloon payments and the Imperial Palace and its contents, including the Golden Throne, have fallen into foreclosure. With an impending auction on the horizon mankind holds its breath as it waits to see who will gain possession of the corpse-god and thus, the fate of humanity...... |

I just saw it today out of boredom, and I was not impressed. Jennifer Lawrence isn't a better actress than Kristen Stewart, though she does try which is to her credit. If they would have ended it with her flashing that hand sign and the riots, it would have been powerful, but everything after that was a long, slow slide into teenage girl territory. And the CGI dogs were just embarrassing.

Yeah, I thought that too. Great, another version of "The Most Dagerous game". That's been done so many times it is a cliche.
Of course, I'm always open to seeing someone try to do something new with it.
