Ibram Gaunt - A character that's fair but just. Dan has done a wonderful job that displays Gaunt leading through example and inspiration vs the "If you wont serve in combat, then you will serve on the firing line!" A wonderful character, who values the lives of his men and of those of the Imperium.

Gearhart - [Titanicus] - Another amazing figure. I love he fights to keep what's left of his humanity.

Ravenor - He's just a BAMF.

Wondering Why the Emperor Left

The Warp

Magnus the Red due to the book A Thousand Sons, that book was AMAZING! Ciaphas Cain because he is very well written as a normal person, and hilarious. Lastly, Loken from the first few Horus Heresy novels because he made a fantastic focal point for the first few books. Loken was very well written too, obviously Dan Abnett's work.

"The uniforms of the Imperial guard are camouflaged in order to protect their wearers by hiding them from sight. the principle is that what the enemy cannot see, he cannot kill. This is not the way of the Adeptus Astartes. A Space Marine's armour is bright with heraldry that proclaims his devotion to his Chapter and the beloved Emperor of Mankind. Our principle is that what the enemy can see, he will soon learn to fear." -The codex Astartes
