Frazzled wrote:No. Ron Paul doesn’t exactly want a federal US judicial system in the first place.
Because he doesn't like the constitution, yes, I know. Frazzled wrote:Whats network neutrality?
The idea that the internet should be a place where free speech should take place, and where commercial activities can take place that benefit a capitalist society, without restrictions from the government or from ISPs. This compared to what the ISPs have planned-- using methods such as deep packet inspection to degrade their service for things related to gaming, peer to peer downloading (both legal and otherwise), and services provided by their competitors such as Skype in the case of ISPs that are also phone companies. Or worse, they would implement a tiered system, allowing access to more and more sites depending on how much you paid for them, much like cable. In essence, Network Neutrality is the concept that allows DakkaDakka to exist in the first place, and the reason why the internet is considered a great example of the free market at work. Frazzled wrote:You’ll have t reference that. If its federal yea, he hates federal as its not in the Constitution.
He doesn't give a damn about the constitution unless it benefits him. Regardless, it referred to his vote and statements regarding the Securing Adolescents From Exploitation-Online Act of 2007. Frazzled wrote:The truth is its more like he think government should stay out of the marriage business altogether.
Too bad he doesn't actually act in that way and instead states that he wants to defend the sanctity of marriage as "between a man and a woman" and is willing to use the federal government to enforce these views on others. Frazzled wrote:That’s because its not in the Constitution. He hates that.
He doesn't give a damn about constitutionality, which is why he supports the Defense of Marriage Act. Frazzled wrote:I don’t think so.
He introduced the Sanctity of Life Act at the federal level, trying to define life as beginning at conception at the federal level and bypassing he states. Frazzled wrote:*** So it sounds to me like you’re voting for him in the Texas primary.
I would sooner spend an entire day vomiting out chicken beaks while being serenaded by Rebacca Black than vote for that nutjob. Frazzled wrote:No. Only a lefty just this side of Che Guevara would confuse the two
So you're saying Ron Paul is a lefty? He's certainly confusing himself about the issue... Also, I'll take a look at it, but I don't like the idea of carrying a concealed weapon in a purse. Purses are too easy to snatch which means the weapon could easily be used against me...

Well if you position the purse properly and have good situational awareness then its no an issue. Else you're reduced to a real pop gun and women's clothing doesn't generally permit larger pieces in Texas. Its too hot to wear the female version of a sport coat type item all the time. To Ron Paul, yea he's all about the Constitution. You may not agree but he doesn't care. I don't care about if you agree or disagree and I don't care about Ron Paul either.

Ron Paul is all about Ron Paul, same as any other politician. He just happens to believe some of his own rhetoric.

Maybe. What do I know. I was getting hammered on sweet sherry when we were bottling the Wife's Pinot Saturday.

why everyone doesn't use credit unions is beyond my comprehension
I get unreal service, and am treated as a valued customer at my local credit union, at Wells Fargo I had an account since 1985, I was 5 years old, and after 25 years they had finally pissed me off enough. 25 years of banking with them, and I got nothing for it, no sure we can over look this simple overdraft, no free anything.
They offer better everything, and most times with 0 fees. It is the only way to bank, FACT.

I'm not into paying fees for getting my own money out.
The wife used to belong to a credit union. It was excellent but the only location was near the police headquarters where she worked. Once she moved on, it was really difficult to get there.

I'm a member of a credit union and a big nationwide bank.
I prefer going to the big bank because the credit union is such a pain to deal with. The big bank has an ATM beside the office, branches all over the country (great for traveling) and is able to handle anything that comes up immediately - the CU has limited hours. Not to mention I get better credit card rewards from the big bank than I do from the CU.
