LA's Totally Awesome not only did not work on my figures, but there was some slight melting of the figures. Go with Simple Green.

What? I have had minis in it for over two weeks with no melting at all. Not to mention it worked way better then simple green imo. What did you strip finecast? I stripped 15 termies, 20 tac, 5 dev's, 2 captains, 5 srgts all with no problems. I did however not varnish my minis when I originally painted them so maybe thats the problem.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

Don't know if you can get it in the US, but here in the UK, I use "Fairy Powerspray". It works wonders cleaning GW paints and undercoat from models. I leave it over night and then scrub with an old head on an Oral-B electric toothbrush. I have left models in for over a month to try it out and neither Polystyrene plastic nor PVC (Vinyl) models are adversely affected by it. I'll try a Finecast resin one tonight and post what has happend by the end of the week.

"Ask ten different scientists about the environment, population control, genetics, and you'll get ten different answers, but there's one thing every scientist on the planet agrees on. Whether it happens in a hundred years or a thousand years or a million years, eventually our Sun will grow cold and go out. When that happens, it won't just take us. It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." yup. I mentioned that earlier. I actually have a power washing bin thats got a dilluted bath of super clean under the main tray. I let the minis soak in that if they're easy, if not I have a sealed jar of concentrated purple to really get it in there. flip a switch and the pump turns on a recirculating nozzle so I can wash my parts while I am stripping them. I should take a photo pf my setup. it works amazing.
