Terrifying Doombull

Warning, this contains scenes of a nature readers of my work may be unsettled by. You have been warned.
War boss Grima Skullsmasha was having the figth of his life unfold around him. His boyzs where stomping the ummies and those dead ard cog boyzs. And he had the joy of fighting their boss.
His opponent was tall for a ummie , almost as tall as em marines he had fought once.
He grinned and slashed in a wide arch around him before throwing a brutal punch at the cog boy.
His foe ducted and a sharp sting was felt in his right leg as the gleaming blade bit him and drew blood. Yes this one had plenty of fight in him.
Tribune Saverok barely managed to avoid a blow that would at best cracked his armor at worst killed him. He cursed his dented and weakened amour for not holding up to the rigors of war, he would have words with the person who had crafted it if he survived.
He could have sworn the beast was enjoying this far too much, he had fought and killed other war bosses before but noting like this hulking monster.
Its armor looked like tank armor ripped from its original form and crudely hammered to fit its form and its sword looked like a immensely large butcher knife
He dodged a blow and struck back hoping to cripple the beast and be able to end this fast, but his blade bit deep but only seemed to enrage the monster.
His blade almost shattered when he parried a blow and once more he found himself pushed back. deciding it was better to gamble and win than to be dragged down and torn limb from limb he gathered all his remaining strength and hurled himself at his foe with a snarl of rage on his face,.
His plasma weapon long since run cold and void of ammunition he had thrown it away, and now with sword in both hands he rained blows down, but as he readied himself for the counter attack from the Ork a loud crack filled the air.
“Wotzs da mater” said the Ork and smiled, revealing a maw filled with fangs the size of daggers.
A blossom of red stained the brave Tribunes chest where the shot had hammered into him, looking up he smiled a wolfish grin
“You dumb Ork, my body is a temple to the machine god. I do not require lesser organic parts to function or kill you for that mater.” the wounded but still dangerous Tribune snarled and hurled his hungry blade at his enemy with all his might.
It struck the War boss in his right arm with enough strength to make him stagger backwards.
As he looked up from his bleeding arm he saw the now almost flying shape of Tribune Saverok who came crashing into him with his considerable weight and strength aiding him,
“DIE DIE IN THE NAME OF MANKIND ABOMINATION!” the enraged Tribune howled and seamed his armoured fist into the maw of his foe, it shattered teeth and broke bone. Fueled by his strength and rage. Now the fight was nearing its brutal ending for one of them.
War boss Grima Skullsmasha felt his teeth break along with his jaw, that punch was a dead ard one he though. The ummie could fight it seemed.
He snorted and lashed back with his massive fist but the blow missed somewhat but still strafed his attacker. But it seemed this only enraged the crazed Tribune, who now was bleeding from many wounds but still kept raining blows downwards.
But suddenly he found himself gripped by the now somewhat desperate Ork, and lifted high in to the air.
“IZ GONNA BREAK YA COG GIT!” it howled. Making peace with his lord and his fate the Tribune awaited a deathblow that never came.
As the War boss sensed victory loom something slammed into him. Snarling he rose, his former and broken foe forgotten. Whoever had the nerve to disrupt his moment of victory would die rather gruesomely.
Then he saw his foe, a massive Skiitari Centurion stood there with a crackling power axe in one hand and a bolter in his other hand.
The battle marked warrior seemed to not notice who and what he had picked a fight with. Well his problem the ork decided and came thundering forwards with his now recovered blade in hand.
“Suffer no the predations of the Xeno” the Centurion said and fired his heavy bolter at point blank range. The mass reactive shells slammed into the charging green skin and ripped through his amour and flesh. The two warriors clashed but eh Skiitari held an advantage.
He fought to save what could only be described as a friend or companion.
He struck like a viper and lifeblood ran along his weapon as he raised it and stuck again and again until his foe lay dead and broken in his shadow.
Once the beast was slain Centurion Morgan spotted his lord laying unmoving and wounded near a immense number of slain foes.
Moving with great speed reach him, and kneeling down beside him he saw the wounds his lord had suffered.
Many say the soldiers of the Priesthood of Mars is inhumane and devoid of feelings. But any man witnessing this solemn scene would think otherwise. Lifting the fallen warrior up in his arms he sent a signal to the few still standing Skiitari and Praetorians that had been gathering around him.
They formed a solemn processions as they left the field of battle.
As the news of the death of the War boss passed amongst the green skins they broke and the Ork war effort fell into sheer mayhem , infighting and sheer bestial behavior took over.
Captain James Henderson lay in his infirmary bed and felt rather sorry for himself. His wound had been a bad one, a amputation had been unavoidable. But he was rather lucky even despite this. As a Captain and a valuable officer he revived a fine new bionic arm. But it still hurt like hell he decided and looked around the shadow filled room, he lay here alone and in quiet boredom.
Propping him self up he lit a Ilho stick and blew smoke hard out into the night.
He was awoken from his boredom and self pity when he heard the door open and close.
“okay okay doc, I wont howl in pain this time. I promise” he said and braced fro anew round of painful injections.
He was surprised when he heard a feminine voice answer him.
“Well that was not what I had in mind James. I came to thank you for being so kind to me. I broke down barriers I never knew had stopped me from experiencing life.”
he recognized that voice, and a series of thoughts raced along in his mind. This could perhaps be a good night still he decided.
He heard the sound of bare feet walking over the floor to his bed, there in the light of small lamp above his head he saw her standing there, her face was beautiful as he remembered it. And her short black hair had grown long he noticed.
“ Frida....never have I seen such a pretty face. You don’t need to thank me, if anything I should thank you.“ he said with a sincere tone in his voice.
This brought a shade of pink to her face and she walked over to his side and slid into his bed.
“I almost did not dare come here, but the thought of you laying here alone gave me the will do it.” she said and let her slender hand run along his scared shoulder.
“Well I don’t mind the company and particularly not when it is in the shape of a almost undressed Colonel like you.” he said and took her hand in his.
She rewarded him with a smile that sent warm shivers all through his body. Reaching up she turned the lamp and of and whispered into his ear.
“I have two days leave and I put in a transferal application to your regiment.....”.
Hearing this he rewarded her with a kiss and a silent prayer of thanks to the Emperor.
As the rain once again began outside two people kept warm, and enjoyed the feeling of having found someone to keep the cold and uncaring world at bay with.
