I ordered two copies from Maelstrom Games, then changed my mind, but it was too late to cancel by then! I was quite glad when they did the exact same thing to me!

I shall have to check I get a proper refund, not moneyback though, as I don't expect I will be spending that much on GW this year. If anything, it will be Forgeworld books, or the Chaos Marines codex.

maelstrom are buggers for not prioritizing pre-orders. however, lets be fair. What sort of Clownshoes company only lets people stock 75 of an item a week?

Unless you phone and ask for a cash/credit refund they will just leave it in your moneyback account ie with themselves and call the job a goodun'.

Too many things about MG smell of nearing administration (I've had 5 suppliers go under in the last twelve months), I'd get my money off the buggers ASAP.

I phoned, they said they have gave me a refund, but four days later it still isnt in my account.

I smell a rat.. I also got an email off them saying I got one. So feth knows..

As I said, clearly the fethers did it on purpose.. I really hope they dont go into administration and keep all of mine and fiftys money though.

I just googled Maelstrom complaints/problems and this thread came up.

I ordered Island of Blood (for a very good price) from them on 1st September and my order has been 'processing' for the last 14 days. I emailed them yesterday morning, no reply as per time stamp today. I asked for an update on my order, and a refund if they were unable to provide my item in the forseeable future. I expect a sensible reply today or I'm going to ring them...

Reasonable time for delivery bs aside, I'm starting to get really annoyed by the delay. I don't care if there is a GW embargo, it's completely unacceptable to take payment for a item and not to ship it for 14 days+ or provide any kind of update. These time scales are not highlighted on their website and lets face it, would seriously affect any buying decision if you knew about them.
