makes sense tbh... Chaos as the book it is needed to become less of "Space marines with spikes" and more the twisted soulless things they are... Legions on the other hand would most likely contain CSM Dreads i'd have thought.
I looked on Lexicanum, it says that Hellbrutes and Dreadnoughts are the same thing, the difference being that Hellbrutes have spent so long in the warp they have hideously mutated. So Dreadnoughts haven't been excised from the Chaos legions completely, and ruleswise I'm sure that Chaos Dreadnoughts count as Hellbrutes.

Squig you have missed the point of what I was saying...
Codex chaos has become about the roving warbands of excommunicated SM's, who don't care who or what gets warped by chaos.
Legions (if they ever do it), will be about the legions who maintained the discipline of their origins but use the warp for their own ends.

Yep, the "You spoony bard!" was from Final Fantasy 4 (I think). The "You cannot grasp the true form of (insert something here)" was actually a reference to MOTHER, or EarthBound as it was known in the west, specifically the bit in the final boss, Giyagas (who looks like a fetus) where the narrator announce "You cannot grasp the true form of Giyagas's attack!" before he sends you back in time.
And then you have to go further back in time to when Giyagas WAS a fetus (as opposed to merely looking like one) and ABORT it.
Some heavy gak, dude.
