Nurgle is the only of the major powers that actually give a damn about his followers, screw the mutations, I want to LIVE damnit!

Not like the Imerium where it is a crime punishable by death to accidently have a glimpse of the very forces there to "protect" you, or having your soul used as fuel for the throne if you happen to have a tiny link to the warp, or being exterminated along with your entire planet because someone in the government MAY be corrupted, used as cannon fodder to slow down enemies until the guys who actually receive proper training and equipment bother to show up oor any other horrible deaths possible, and very likely.

I always viewed it with how nurgle is painted as being so loving and giving. That he would be somewhat easy to turn to.

Then there is papa nurgle who is more then happy to take care of and listen to all his children.
