If you spent the points for Zahn, Immo, Oby, teks and the Lychguard, you are likely not losing combat. The only fear here is the lack of Warscythe attacks. I think you can safely leave Immo at home and get a generic overlord with a scythe/MSS and the other bells and whistles. THEN you're not losing combat.

Try something more like this (and it fits in a night scythe): Overlord, Overlord, Lord, Lord, (all with MSS, Scythes, one orb, OLs with better armor, maybe a laby) and 5 Lychguard with Swords and Shields. You'll slaughter ANYTHING you fight and you're still tough enough (T5, 3+/4+ with 4+RP up front), I feel you can skip the rerolls in favor of more warscythes. If you want to keep the teks, you can take out the Lords and still have all of the Overlord scythe attacks and 2 mindshackles.

that there would be a hybrid RCDI: very effective.
Though, with that much expensive muscle invested in a unit, you'd be crazy not to include at least one Chrono-tek (3 Warscythe/MSS bearers should be sufficient to wreck face)

What I think people dont realise is that a Chronotek has a Weapon that trolls a fair few people & a 3++

Chronotek has the worst weapon in the entire game.

Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high

Use them right, and there isn't much that is gonna beat up a lychguard star in melee, as long as it doesn't have crazy invuln saves.
Killing most things on 3's (MEQ) or 2's (Most everything else) with the sword is not something to be scoffed at.
Yeah if you Put them against terminators, you're gonna want scythes....but again why would you assault terminators? I'd much rather shoot them to death than assault them with Necrons.

Use your lychguard as backfield bullies... and use your shooting to neutralize your enemy's assault units.

Obyron can generate a f***ton of attacks though, and when you have swords and shields,.. dont forget the swords are ap3.. which ignores armour saves for like,.. almost anything
