Double force org. isn't a big deal. When my friends and I have gone up to the points value where it is relevant, we needed it for more room for troops. I play DA, so my DW termies and RW bikes become troops and I need more troops room. So how does this make me a disrespectful player for playing by the rules.

P.S. I would be glad to fight that. I would crack a joke at the spamminess and take up the challenge.

Q: What points level?

What else are you bringing?

We have one player who cosistantly brings a WAAC vendetta list for all games and he is considered a dick for doing so - in fact at least one player refuses to play him.

Kinda funny that people make personal judgement on others based on what toys they choose to play with.

Not really a fair thing to do.

It's more to do with attitude though - just like that Space Marine player who codex-hops to no end simply to gain an advantage over their opponent every single game...
For example, we have one local Marine player who will take SW's vs my Daemons and spam Rune Priests to deny me my psychic supports, but against the CSM players, he'll suddenly swap to DA's for plasma-spam, then switch-up again to play Vulkan lists vs the Ork & 'Nid players, etc...)

But this is list tailoring, which is rude and unfair.

If my only 40k list happens to have 6 vendettas, and I use it against everyone equally, and am a genuinely nice person otherwise, I don't think that would make me a bad guy, nor WAAC.

It just makes my list cheesy.

You don't think that a person that uses a cheesy list on everyone all the time is a WAAC player?

edit: Oh, I see from a previous post that you do not think that. I'll put it this way then. Does a person that plays Tekken as Eddie Gordo every match every time a WAAC player?

Since when is a 6 vendetta list cheesy? it is a normal army and if yours cant deal with 4+flyers , then its is not the cheesy IG foult , but you runing a bad all rounder codex.

Do you work for GW? I mean telling people to get a more powerful codex just to win or deal with cheese? At least all the codexes coming out now seem to be more balanced now, so all we can do now is wait for these cheesie codexes will be updated and hopefully the problem will be gone now.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

I play guard and would never run 6 vendettas - yet alone the 9 I can field with one force org chart, and being unable to deal with that doesn't reflect poorly on the codex or the player, it reflects on the fact that no one expects to see a full squadron of planes over the table so they don't bring in that much anti-air....its the same reason why armored company was so insanely powerful back in the day...everyone had stuff to deal with armor, but they didn't have stuff to deal with a list of nothing BUT armor...that's a bit hard to stomach.

while yes there is merit in throwing your opponents a curveball to with the meta game, there is also more merit in playing a fair, fun match....disregarding your opponent's fun is what most would call cheese.

When asked by a German Officer to surrender his forces at Mortain, Lieutenant Kerley of the 30th Infantry Division replied by saying "Go f**k yourself."
