Themistocles being left out of 300 was probably the one sore spot for me in a film I otherwise enjoed quite a bit. I'll enjoy putting on my smarty pants when people I know complain about a woman being in charge in the film. Leonidas wouldn't have even gone if Themistocles hadn't convinced Athens to get off its butt and help. I'm all for not being historically accurate when we don't want to be, but we could at least have given the guy a nod XD
It'll be nice to see Artemsia get her shot too. She was pretty bad ass. Not Boudica bad ass or Mattilda of Tuscany bad ass, but pretty bad ass (though that whole siding with the Persians thing really didn't help her image for most of history XD).
