Sadly, OP, I don't think it's the case.

I wanted to start a Dark Eldar Cult of Strife army at the end of 5th edition, as it offered a different play style to my Tau.

I didn't have the money then and now that list is basically dead. Will probably still get it at some point, even if it is just a modelling and painting exercise.

Maybe after a new Tyranid codex comes out and we see a resurgence in Carnifexes and other Monstrous Creatures and infantry not packed into Transports. But for now, especially with the new Eldar Codex and its Wave Serpent spamminess, the Dark Eldar have slunk back to the webway to await a time more ripe for the slaughter.
