Just Finished my Crimson Hunter made from the DE Razorwing with the hunters big stabilisation wings and weapons. from ebay all for about 20 pounds, much more reasonable then 40 for the Hunter model.
Getting a bit more adventurous with the base.

Lovely work.

This force is so sexy that a gal just threw her knickers at the screen when she walked past me at Starbucks!

Excellent work VonKessler.

The model looks great and the paint job is quite nice.

I personally do not like the base. It gives the immediate impression that the poor thing has been shot down and is crashing into a jungle canopy.

nice image Fatboy

mm the base was supposed to be the tree bending from the speed of the passing craft. I should have left a gap between tree and craft.

I'm building an Exodite Fire Prism With no prism parts atm so I might go back to the Hunter base later.

Just finished my Wraithblade exarch
I wanted to do a bright stallion conversion for months but in my head it was using the wraithknight model, which would be quite expensive and I've seen a couple of wraithlord bright stallions but never really considered using wraithguard until I saw oldwolf79 and the fantastic conversion he did. I just happened to win two boxes of wraithguard on ebay for cheap so I thought, why not.
quite pleased with it
any feedback welcome, enjoy

Very cool Vyper. I liked that look much better than the stock model.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

The wraithknight with ghost glaive is truly deserving of the word "epic".

Taking a break from Eldar
I fancied doing a Blood Angels Mephiston conversion I've been thinking of for a while.
I had in mind really focusing on the darker, vampiric side of the Blood Angels.
This is my take on the Lord of Death himself
Enjoy

Nice Mephistion, very dark! A really good conversion all round, I like the cape on the back, and a good choice of head. The only thing I'm not sure of is the hand. I find it a bit weird that it's not in power armour and it looks like it's the wrong way round with the pistol on top like that. Still, it's a minor point and a badass mini!
