If he's got a powerfist, then he's striking I1 regardless.

Besides, if Captain Blockhead here is any indicator, you don't automatically get a powerfist with TDA.

You don't have to use the powerfist?

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

You do if it's your only close combat weapon. That means you don't get the free one for not having any, and you have to pick a weapon with Melee permission. Wish I had the book handy to point out the page but I believe it's under assault rules.

Back on topic...Deathwind launcher for drop pods. In 5th they were potentially handy against mobs, if overpriced for the one turn you fired before it was blasted to oblivion. Now you don't even get that shot because you can't snap fire it as a blast on arrival, and next turn its already dead...

SoB armory, Condemnor Boltgun.

It's the only anti-psyker wargear left in the WD Codex and it's what I'd call totally useless. It's a combi-bolter with a one-shot crossbow shooting a holy bolt. Better S than the bolter but no AP, and the anti-psyker effect (automatic Perils) only happens if you cause an unsaved wound on a psyker with it. I'd rather save the points and instead shoot those pesky Rune Priests with an Exorcist launcher.
