I like that. I'd also like an alternative that, if any phone is used in that radius during a movie/show, the cell hpone burns out in smoky/sparky old Star Trek style. Mayhaps at the same time Dredd announces over the dying phone. "You have been...judged!"

I'd be happy with a big spotlight being shone on the offender, and a loudspeaker asking them to stand up and explain why they felt the need to interfere with the enjoyment of others.

What I was saying is that prior to this episode, a retired police captain would have been seen/touted by gun-rights supporters as being a poster child for responsible gun ownership.

Little did they know he was a complete anarchist and rule breaker in disguisr....carrying his weapin into a weapon-free zone! Its almost as if he was expecting to have someone assault him with viciously buttered popcorn.

Yeah, sounds like he was a nutjob.

To clarify my earlier posts, I don't have a problem with texting during trailers. My previous stance only covers the actual film.

I'll let texting during trailers slide.

If you text during the film, you'll get a nasty look, then a "Turn off your fething phone, pig fether!", then I'll go get the manager. If that doesn't work, I'll throw some poop at your phone's screen.
