Morgan is certainly awful but by the same token it's only the accent, and not being awful, that sets him apart.

I have to disagree.
Caveat: I only typically watch Sunday morning talking heads for modern TV reporting and issues, as well as listen to Erin Burnett on Fridays on the drive back to Austin. Occasionally I’ll watch O Reilly some when bored.

In the two shows I watched him, he seemed
*Almost aggressively ignorant of the issue being discussed.
*Aggressively defending that ignorance.
*Obnoxious to a level that makes OReilly look like Brinkley.
*Snide and contemptuous of the legal system, weighting of evidence, and burden of proof. He was very hostile to the “American legal system” even though its his country’s fault we have it AND PATTERNED AFTER THEIRS.
*You got the feeling that if he ever made the mistake of someone else getting a chance to answer a question, they’d blow him out of the water.

This is the best news of the week.

Mannahnin wrote:A lot of folks online (and in emails in other parts of life) use pretty mangled English. The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

Shooting is just shouting but really really meaning it.

He's an arse, but an arse who keeps getting sacked before going on to get a better job.

He could probably afford to retire now. Hopefully he will.

It does certainly involve some heavy punctuation.

Piers is a horribly abrasive, smarmy witch. I hope he gets some jail time from this phone hacking business.

He was hardly alone in being a witch. You guys have a fair amount of home grown abrasive arsepieces on the TV, especially relating to political news. Bill O'Reilly and that other nut job who's name escapes me.

Can't argue there. Every time I see Bill O'Reilly anywhere I automatically roll my eyes. I can't stomach that donkey-cave
