Void Shields on a Bastion(Purchasable Upgrade) Is very Clear, all Hits from a shooting attack transfer.

Models within a projected Void Shield(less well worded but says the same thing): Shooting attacks that hit the unit instead hit the shield.

The Shooting attack(Blast) Hits multiple models in a protected unit(s), instead hits the shield. You do not re-fire the blast, you transfer the hits.

I would have responded earlier if my kid hadn't killed my ATT Uverse Modem on Friday and/or I could have had it replaced before an hour ago.
