Seems neat, but a bit too pricey for me, especially factoring in the shipping and that the rules require 50% of the board to be filled with terrain, and 50% of that to be these massive multi-level buildings.

I think I'll stick with Deadzone (which this seems to play like) and save my KS money for Zombicide later this month.

I'm torn ........ I love the terrain but I'm not sure I can justify spending that kind of money now.

I'd also have to cut out the windows and fit clear plasticard in.

Wow, was really interested in the terrain untill I saw the price! Well out of my price range im afraid. I seriously think companies need to find a cheaper alternative to MDF/HDF (sheets of it can't be that expensive!). I wish you the best of luck with your campaign though!

Are there any plans on adding some more scenery add ons? I'm in for the Downtown pledge, because it's awesome, but I'm pretty much at my limit and would love to add the rulebooks and and some minis. If there was an option for some of the walkways and buildings to add onto a two player pledge that would be great. If I'm in the position I'm sure I'm not the only one.

The pricing doesn't seem that bad to me. The models are going for about 8-15 dollars. That's about on par with high end single metal miniatures from most manufacturers.

The terrain looks a little pricey, but not out of this world for MDF terrain. It does strike me as more in the range of pre-painted MDF terrain though. But it is hard to get a real sense of it without handling the terrain.

All in all it looks like a well put together Kickstarter.

Preferably with Wild West Exodus?

Yea, I don't fully understand why this isn't standard procedure for miniatures-heavy Kickstarters these days. Inevitably a comparison shot has to be put up. Why not do it from the start?

Many of you wanted to know how big are the minis. Here is the miniatures and terrain scale comparison.

I think this means that terrain will work well with Wild West Exodus stuff too...though I wouldn't mind some more scale pics too!

However the price is definitely far out of the ballpark for what I would ever consider for a kickstarter. $150 for the rules, dice and ten minis for a game I have to wait 6 months to get is a hard sell...

I'm sorry to say it, but the flat and the warehouse are cheaper from UK retailers.

But not by much and I haven't looked at the others yet.

And of course would be delivered a lot sooner what's the incentive to pay more and wait?

The stretch goals for 'free' stuff, presumably?

If you're in at (x) level, you're already going to get (soon) the 'shanty town' free, I think?

I'm not commenting on the Terrain pledge levels for this reason. specifically the warehouse and flats add ons

I'm backing this Kickstarter to support a game system that I find to be very appealing. Yes I probably could get them a little cheaper from UK retailer but I want the game to succeed. Any free stuff I get with my pledge is a bonus.

This is directed at the Terrain add ons (flats and ware house specifically) not any pledge level

Of course you back something because you want it to succeed? And it has! It's funded! Huzzah! (A lot of this kickstarter is a high profile sale to fund some new stuff)

Now as far as buying more terrain. (Again I'm not talking about anything else but terrain add ons)

If money is not an issue why don't you give micro art studio more of it by buying direct from them without any discount? You'll get your Shiney stuff sooner and you can start enjoying the steampunk universe in all it's glory.

Or

You can buy from a local(same country) retailer, potentially showing that retailer that there is a local market for this game and they can order more off of micro art studio. Which could then lead to the benefits a larger "shelf share" in a shop entails. And you as the customer get your new Shiney terrain cheaper and sooner.

Me if I was so inclined to get more terrain than I have in my downtown pledge I'd go with the local retailer route quicker, cheaper, still supporting micro art studio.

It sounds as if it is what you're looking for, and you're still supporting MAS, just not necessarily in this KS, which may or may not be a good thing, depending on your opinion about KS campaigns and such.

Question for the guys at Micro Art - is there a plan to add the main rule book as an add on?

I ask as the $175 pledge has the expac book, but not the main, and the expac is also available as an add on.
