Most of the rare stuff that I had, or we managed to save from our recent apartment fire is/was not gaming related.

I still have a unique signed photograph and a letter from a band that I sent money too years ago. They were on tour and somebody swiped the trailer that had all of their musical instruments in it. Anybody that sent them money to help got something. While they're not "rockstar famous" they did do one of the most successful music startups on kickstarter, so I guess that says something.

We had a lot more video game type memorabilia, but that's not really rare.

TBH, the most expensive thing collectible wise so far I've had to price out for the insurance has been signed books, or out of print books.
