That sucks that your friends would tease you because of it. I actually have no problem with people using paper cutout models if they can't afford to or don't have the time to do buy and assemble armies.

While I obviously enjoy the hobby aspect of the game, hence why I have a bajillion miniatures, when it comes down to the game itself, it's just a game.

I use paper on hardboard cutouts.
They took a lot of work but I didn't feel like buying three WK before testing whether they were good or not.

I'm going to buy two WK now. Because of social pressure. Because I can't play in tournaments with my hardboard cutouts.

But hey.. whatever, at least I like them now, and painting is a bigger issue anyway.
