I got apocalypse templates for when my knight Titans die ( and a baneblade I got off craigslist for cheap), as well as one of those handy movement/coherency templates(?) in the same colour as my Ultramarines.
Gonna treat myself to an Empire Steam Tank and Empire Celestial hurricanum, I think, after I get off this 11 day stretch.

Looks like I'm late to the party. Happy belated Christmas to all.
I usually don't ask for minis for Christmas, and this year was no exception. The closest I got was a Judge Dredd graphic novel. I wanted it so I could pick up the back story on Block Mania, and the Apocalypse War.
However, I did order myself a Christmas present yesterday morning. The Otherworld Red Dragon is now on its way to my house.

It was a very boardgamey Christmas this year. My wife and I got the Heart of Glorn and Downwood Tales expansions for Mice and Mystics. I got Zombicide seasons 1&2 and the Toxic City Mall expansion. Thus far playing a few scenarios by myself has been entertaining. I also got a copy of Resistance, which will shortly be tearing the family apart , and Love Letter. I got my sister a copy of Timeline, which is...about...the nerdiest game ever, but we're all historians. There's still an office Christmas party to go on the 30th, so I'll have to be circumspect about miniatures purchases until Jan. In a five person firm my hobby proclivities are quite well known.

Kirasu: Have we fallen so far that we are excited that GW is giving us the opportunity to spend 58$ for JUST the rules? Surprised it's not "Dataslate: Assault Phase"

Lots of Infinity was exchanged yesterday, where we had a late Christmas with my parents. I received the new Jannisary HMG and a second box of Kum riders (go go Kum swarm! Though these may warrant conversions for different riders), my nephews were given Operation Icestorm, one also got a Reverend Custodier to go with his new Nomads, and the other got a Spitfire Kotail Mobile Unit to go with his fledgling Tohaa, and my brother got Yojimbo. A very Infinity Christmas was had.

Christmas was (for once) very good to me. I got the Maliefaux rule book and my fiance got a Maliefaux box set with evil nurses. She's a natural and but them together quicker and better than I would have done.
Brief aside, I'm amazed at the quality of Wyrd's plastic miniatrues. I heard about them, but actually seeing them is WOW!
I also got a box of Khador Man O' Wars and a Convergence Retributer heavy infantry. Oh yes, a very good Christmas.

My sister forgot to give me a present from...whenever ago (she thinks it was my birthday), so I got 2 Z-95 Headhunters for X-Wing. I also got myself a YT-2400. Grandparents tossed me $125 in checks, so I'm thinking my X-wing materials need a restocking. How soon does Scum and Villainy come out?

I got Typhus, the Emperor's Champion, lots of Kromlech bits (which allowed me to build a Samurai-Berzerker. Still have the ripper weapons and nine legs to go!) and Hasslefree's Clint and Beth.
I also got the Talon of Horus, Imperial Armour 13, the Dark Heresy code rulebook, Outbreak: Deep Space.
The bitz will keep me going for a while, but I'm trying to stem my miniature purchasing until I have more of my models painted up.

All videogaming stuff this year. My wife and I have been buying it over the past 3 months and just using it as we go, and after awhile decided that these were out presents to each other/ourselves. I also sneakily got her some books she was interested in, though.

The Office Christmas party has come and gone, and left me with a mighty hangover and several beautiful 4Ground terrain kits: Sheriff's Office, First National Bank, and...The Sassy Gal Saloon! As one who scratch builds a lot of terrain, these types of large, detailed kits are a luxury I rarely afford myself. But oh, what a luxury! I have to say that I have been consistently impressed with 4Ground terrain products. If you have been on the fence about them, I encourage you to buy a couple of smaller kits. These kits are always surprising in their clever design, sturdy construction, and conscientious details. For example, I was floored to find that the First National Bank and Sassy Gal Saloon came packaged with a set of rubber bands and clothes pins to assist construction! Not that this is expensive to include in a kit at the price point for the product, but it is something that you don't normally see in an MDF kit. A dozen little details like these make 4Ground products very satisfying.

Mrs monders made it very clear that I wasn't getting any toy soldier stuff, but I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a home brewing starter kit off her!
I'll just hope that Element Games has a New Years sale and I can pick up Android Netrunner for a good price.
