Wave Serpents are 115.
Riptides are ~180.
Rhinos are 35.

All are good vehicles.

I think the point here is that everything competes for points in this game. Some stuff just doesn't measure up.

Like the ever present problem with terminators?

17,000 points (Valhallan)
10,000 points
6,000 points (Order of Our Martyred Lady)
Proud Countess of House Terryn hosting 7 Knights, 2 Dominus Knights, and 8 Armigers
Stormcast Eternals: 7,000 points

Lets not be saying every transport barring the WS is poor...

Psybolt assault cannon razorbacks for inquisition, night scythes and ghost arks for crons, the dreadclaw, pods, trukks, battlewaggons and venoms (correct name for the DE one thats not a raider right?). All are good for their points. Just not anywhere near wave serpent good. Apart from maybe the dreadclaw - now that's a game changer!

And how does it help and IG player that a night scyth or a pod is good?

Also comparing the chimera, a transport IG have to use to get anywhere near objectives, and a devilfish, a transport few to non tau armies use is a bit of misunderstaing IMO.

I think the point here is that everything competes for points in this game. Some stuff just doesn't measure up.

Which is ok, for all those armies that don't have to use unit X. rhinos or falcon are bad? lets use bikers or pods or WS. A soul destroying for armies that don't have such options.
