Check "cleaning your hobby space right now" for sexism.
Both the question and the tongue in check answer demonstrate a contempt for one of two genders.
Wow, you are working WAY too hard to see sexism in anything you possibly can.
When I read that I didn't even consider gender, I just assumed it meant a lazy gamer who left their crap lying around and a spouse who had to clean it up
Granted those questions are biased by the fact they shouldn't be asked for people who answered "single" to the relationship status, but I think you're really working over time to read sexism in that.
Put yourself in the place of a girl collecting and playing 40k, a hobby she came into and shares with her father, and retake the survey. See how irritated it makes you to see the same stereotypes and tropes appear in a survey.
But that's okay, I guess. Can't have people stating opinions, or pointing out errors. That would mean this is a forum, or something.

Question: Does your partner/spouse support your hobby?
reply: he/she is cleaning my workstation/hobby area for me 104 7.6 %
Everything is clearly labeled as he/she - spouse is not gender specific either. I chose it non gender specific on purpose to even accomodate same sex couples.
The personal questions have a disclaimer that they are optional and can be left out.
Cleaning the workbench when cleaning the rest of the room is a big show of support to me, might also be because both partners share the workspace.
My wife doesn't do it, because we both agree to spend money on a 3rd person to do it, so we have more time for our hobbies.
The sexism is in YOUR head only, so stop white-knighting yourself.

You can have your opinion and you can state that opinion. Just like I can state that I think you're inventing sexism where none exists. The only thing remotely sexist is you being sexist by assigning a job to specific gender role when it could equally apply to either sex and was indeed worded that way. Why couldn't a woman be a gamer and the man be the one cleaning it up? For some reason when I picture it I get an image of the comedian Jon Richardson cleaning up after his girlfriend (google him if you haven't heard of him, he's quite funny, lol).

I'm not the one applying gender to the survey, just pointing out that it is biased and implies comptempt for one of two genders.

At a guess (based on their revenue) it means they only have about 100-200k active customers.
Seems about right, in my experience. Granted, I'm not touring stores across the world and looking into people's shopping carts, but just in observing mine and my friend's buying habits, that seems about right.

Really interesting results so far.
Chaos SM second most played faction, 30% of players with 6000 points or above as a main, 80% with a 2nd army, nobody with a commission paintjob , 60% of players spending over half a grand each year.

Been there, done that with my mother (well, warhammer fantasy)... then again, been there, done that with my girlfriend. Can't really see the sexim inherent in it there since we're gay.

I've only ever stated that the question and answer shows contempt for one of two genders. Throwing "he/she" into the question/answer doesn't change it. The sexism is that people automatically assume one of two genders, while the question plays on a gender inequality trope. The question/answer would have been better if "he/she" was never added, and if the tounge in check answer did not exist.
Note: never once did I state which gender is held in contempt, I've only stated one of two.
What I find more interesting is the retaliation over just the gender issue, while the entire survey was bias to achieve a specific conclusion. Why is it no one is upset over the obvious bias? Something to think about.

Bias is impossible to eliminate... but more to the point, you haven't made any specific accusations about biased questions other than the sexism argument for that one question.

The survey is a harmless piece of fun - let's not tear this poster a new one for raising their head above the parapet.

Looking at the survey results afterwards --
Space marines had the highest respondents, 14.8%. Interestingly, CSM 11.6%, and Eldar only 9%.
11.7% of people have of people own 10k-20k points in their main army, and 5% own 20k points+?!
Value for money: from very cheap to very expensive: 30%, 9%, 39%, 13%, 8.7%
0Most people spent between 200 - 1000 Euro.
74% rated quality of GW miniatures 1 or 2, 1 being excellent.
66% rated value for money 4 or 5, 5 being very expensive.
39% bougth from FLGS, the highest (by far).
35% spend nothing on tabletop games per year?!
40% have played more than 10 years
70% like D6
Only 7.5% are 15-20. But this could also represent who answers surveys, lol.

The 35% of non-spenders who shocked you so much have probably been in the hobby long enough that they have their army, and have either given up on the rules or are just plugging away casually with what they already own.

Maybe you need a new dictionary, your current one appears to have mislabelled "contempt" with the description for "indifference". What I find more interesting is the retaliation over just the gender issue, while the entire survey was bias to achieve a specific conclusion. Why is it no one is upset over the obvious bias? Yes... something to think about. It's obviously slightly biased, but not biased enough that anyone cares... even you don't care enough to actually discuss the bias except to point out that it exists. Ok, thought about it, lets move on

jeffersonian, the only reason I got angry is because you do not stop trolling this thread/survey, even though I politely asked you to provide proper examples of mistakes and your proposal of changing them. Please also note you are the only person complaining in this indiscriminate manner out of a dozen different forums and social media.
This, combined with your high post count, lets me deduce that you are most likely not a very social person in real life, probably suffering from some kind of inferiority complex which makes you nitpick about how or what other people post *constantly* just for the fun of it, but at the same time contributing nothing of value to the discussion at hand or the community or readers.
So please, if you will, STFU or post something meaningful.
An no, this sentence was not sexist either, but definetly biased.
