Erm... The flat pack wouldn't work in card and you might need to reinforce it somewhat more, but you can certainly get some of the look of it using card.
sorry for not commenting earlier, needed an early night^^
well, the rounded building fits nicely inside, maybe one minor suggestion since you mentioned n the vid, as it is a wee bit taller than the wall sections... you could do some fitting wallsections, this would create more inner space to make the inner circle of the fort still playable, and also to fix the building issue...also... this would give you the opportunity to get some sort of optical balance for the gate sections height, some symmetry...
Hey guys, after a little break I have started working on the fort again, I have turned my attention to the top of the tower and have started working on a crane. Here's some pics:
you´ve given me a huge inspiration now...for my own leviathan built i need to build some kind of mek room...and this chain and crane setup you made will defenitly find it´s way into my own build...
marvellous! inventive and genius! what a way to come back!
the crane looks spot on! it is very orky already, the winch is awesome, and the lil hook system you did is what i find genius about the whole thing... very convincing and still true to your felxible storing idea behind the whole fort idea...
also...i think the bigger tower platform is legit as it will give you lots of room for what this crane was meant to exist...
more!!!!!!^^
cheers, vik

Cheers guys! I have slowed down someone on it's construction, but hope to get back on track soon. I am finding adding more detailed parts to it while retaining the flat pack ability is proving to be more difficult than I had thought.
I agree that it needs to 'pop' more, the current dry brush of silver isn't really doing the trick.

Thanks guys!
Progress has slowed on the project, but it has not stopped, I have averted my attention to a scratch built Ork Big Rig that I might create a thread on here for.
