I've seen some nice conversions - probably on these forums - with arms from 3rd party casters.

I have some myself - still a WIP.

I'd love to see Chaos Marines get a new codex and desperately needed new models, I'd actually consider collecting my 6th (!) faction then.

I also really liked the tunnelers that were in Epic and think they'd make for fun models. Sort of drop pods for IG?

Field kitchens ( a kitchen on wheels ) . Presumably IG and SOB still need to eat , and you'll never improve apon a hot meal , especially when you are out in the field 6 weeks or 6 months.

An elongated Taurus vernator with a compartment in the back to carry 5 or 6 troops, like was in one of the SOB novels. The imperium is really hurting for a bare bones, rock bottom cheap, general purpose automobile / transport.

A bigger, elaborated repressor in a command / communications variant , and a field mechanics / field services variant, for IG , SOB , Navy liaison , myriad field services / logistics personnel .

Not just in GW and 40k , but in war modeling in general, the mundane necessities NEVER get modelled . :(

oh, and for death korps cavalry , some sort of purpose built forage wagon , and pack horses would be nice.

So, so many ideas I could say, I'll just keep to 2 infantry and vehicle.

For me it's all about the customization, I loved those 2000s era 5 part kits that you could mix and match. I made whole IG armies bashing fantasy and 40k kits. Can't stand the recent kits that seem to have more parts but can only be built one way.

So I would want an Imperial Citizens kit along the line of the Empire Free Company. 10 bodies, tons of heads and arms and weapons to make hive gangers, Inquisition Warbands, IG, cultists, civilians whatever.

If there could be a 50/50 male/female split, even better.

For the vehicle my love of 40k-esque cars and trucks continues. I did a concept drawing once of a 3 option kit. A tractor trailer with a 40s style pick up truck in the front and trailer in back.

The truck can be used on its own as an IG jeep, or a hard top added for a staff car/limo.

The trailer can be configured as a troop transport (20~30 men) or a command and control trailer.

An effective and cheap IG infantry kit. No more buying three different kits to build one unit!

Free from GW's tyranny and the hobby is looking better for it

Not a model as such but a generic special weapons sprue, with plasma, flamer, melta guns etc on it. Maybe a couple of each type per sprue.
No Imperial eagles and no spikes, maybe add them as optional extras
Then I can equip my units properly.

You do know that GW already sell packs of meltaguns and plasmaguns separately?

Constantly being negative doesn't make you seem erudite, it just makes you look like a curmudgeon.
