Wait so my FLGS wont get the 30-50% margin. That sucks. Friggin evil empire.

evil empire.... oohkay.

If a FLGS has a trade account, they get roughly 50% off retail and 35% off direct. Additionally, they get free terrain, quarterly budgets for free models (prize support, demo units), and all kinds of fun bonuses. Most FLGS are so poorly run and managed that they don't take advantage of the gak that GW offers them.

If GW is an Evil Empire, Warlord Games is worse, as their retailer starts off at 47% off and 25% for direct.

The discount GW gives is 45% off retail, so Warlord Games is better in that regard...

I also believe direct is 25% off.

They are very likely pullung products as they switch them to 8th packaging with the new rules put into the box.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

They seem to be in stock and available for me.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

But they're web only.

I'm blind.

My guess is that it means this kit is not going to get repackaged with the new AoS branding with round bases and will simply be web only in its current form.

45/25 if you carry Essentials, or 50/35 if you're like, not a slowed store, and carry the normal Stockist stuff. As a "thank you", one of my FLGS extended the 35% direct discount to me last Christmas for doing a bunch of demo work for them - that was a treat. Plus, any FLGS with a GW account gets several hundred bucks of quarterly freebies, terrain, and realm of battle boards. If you, like, you know, actually ask your trade rep to send stuff. Most FLGS can't be bothered to take advantage of these programs, but most FLGS are run as hobbies and the owners don't know what the hell they're doing.
