Anyone think it looks like a miniature star destroyer?

No? Star Destroyers are all gothicy.

edit: Or you mean the Star Wars thing? (I realised those large things aren't called star destroyers)

Still can't see it.

This is maybe the worst looking FW model ever released. I mean. Not only is it going to be too expensive and made out of trash resine. It also looks like crap. GJ FW - here is not having my money. Should have let GW release it and we'd have an actual decent addition to the primaris. OFC it's rules will be busted. Carries 30 Primaris and 1 Primarch. Has Void Shields 38 wounds and its mega auto accelerator cannon with heavy 14 str 9 ap -2 3D with ignore cover for 550 points.

If we fail to anticipate the unforeseen or expect the unexpected in a universe of infinite possibilities, we may find ourselves at the mercy of anyone or anything that cannot be programmed, categorized or easily referenced.

Or you could, you know, read the article.

So it would be the same as what he said, but instead of the transport capacity, add 4 quad-lascannon sponsons and a Hay-Grav-Las-Macro Blaster Cannon, Heavy 80 (cos imperials don't get random dice throw for number of hits), S12 AP-5 D10 Ignores line of sight. More expensive though, at least 650 points.

Actually no, that's far too much like something Gw would give the imperials. A forgeworld stat line would be unbalanced.

I was really looking forward to more Primaris stuff, but I admit I'm not really a fan of this thing. First off, it's not armed enough to be a cousin of the repulsor but what find it does have are crazy pants. I had hoped that FW was going to do the Primaris Thunderhawk equivalent, or even just Repulsor variants. I'm sure they will produce more as time goes on, but when I see the astrafus all I think is twin gun Scorpion tank from Halo, on grav pads. I don't see imperium in this thing. Looks like it's from the wrong game

I have no idea why but I keep imagining its the front end of a large battleship-like machine....
