Got also drawn into the setting by dawn of war, where I utterly fell in love with the Imperial guard and even played the campaign parts where their were playable totally ignoring my marines. Then when my friend pushed forward the idea of giving the tabletop a try I just instantly thought of Imperial Guard. I loved the tanks but also to give the spotlight to what were considered as mere auxialiaries. Later when I dug more into the lore I even more enjoy that kind of courage they have for being little soldiers with no superpowers, just humble guys.

Since I didn't had that much money I then sought and bought a big second hand pack which is still the core of my army today (getting sentimental).
