Yup, I'm in the camp expecting their current plans to end at 4 Primarchs a piece. Not that more aren't possible eventually, but any more will likely be a lot longer. Chaos being the 4 god aligned ones, and loyalists being Guilliman, Lion, Russ, and one more.

I could see a way to bring Sanguinius back, and for parity that makes sense. But I'm not convinced it's what Blood Angels players want, and they should be the main market.

So I can totally see Vulkan. Two main reasons:

1) he's SUPER easy to bring back, because he is explicitly unkillable. He's probably insane, but he's almost definitely alive.

2) even though Salamanders aren't quite as popular as the chapters with their own books, Vulkan seems generally very popular as a character even outside of those who collect his gene sires. He's just a real cool guy!

4+4 is definitely the obvious starting point but if they do well then expanding to 6+6 to cover all of the living primarchs doesn't seem like a big stretch.

7 vs. 6.5, surely?

If you haven't seen the body, it doesn't count - which currently means that Dorn and Omegon (IIRC) are still counted amongst the living.

Remaining dead should be Sanguinius, Ferrus Manus, Horus, Night Haunter and Alpharius (and he's a maybe).

Alpharius and Omegon are tricky ones - even if they were to show up are they really who they say they are? Some of their brothers could tell the difference but it's been ten thousand years...

Dorn is missing presumed dead in rather different circumstances than the Primarchs who just headed off and didn't come return.

Any of those could easily come back if GW wanted them to!

Alpharius appears to die in the HH books, but given their whole premise we really can't be sure. As long as they come back with a mechanic that encompasses that, I think it could be cool. Have rules that build on the 'I am Alpharius!' mechanic.

Personally I wreckon next plastic Primarch will be Fulgrim. I remember reading the new "rivals" coming up. Wolves and Sons, Children and DA.

So with that Fulgrim I think will be next and lead a massive assault against the DA, larger than what the Sons did, I'm talking Devistation of Baal level assault. In this assault the Dark Angels Chapter moment of greatest need, the watchers will wake up the Lion in this assault.

I wreckon Fulgrim will be big a snake like. much like a giant WoW boss. I personally hope no wings for him. As for the Lion I hope he's full on Tank. I hope he has a big sword and giant storm shield. We need a loyalist primarch that can run up to Mortatian and potentially come away victorious.

That's my thoughts what about you guys.

If they do fulgrim he'll have wings, since he has in every single depiction of the character from inception. Epic, HH series, etc all describe him the same way: 4 arms, snake body, wings and horns.

At least it won't be as ugly as the old Epic mini
