Utilizing Careful Highlighting

Seems to be something with their US servers--I can get them on the UK side no problem, up almost to check out, but then it gets angry I don't have a UK address, and refuses to let me finish. Going to US side is throwing 500 errors.

I suspect if you have added items from a “wrong” store, it’s unlikely to work until you go back to that store, remove the items and then go to the correct one.

the US seems to work better in the early morning from what people are reporting (it seems there are just too many requests going in, especially as more of the country wakes up and tries to get online)

I can't imagine it's that popular given the subset of a niche of a hobby it serves. Are they running the server with a c64?

Ha!

I loved my C64 back in the day - but all I really did was game on it... BLUE MAX was awesome!

Never underestimate the power of free stuff in generating more customers. Plus don't forget a lot more people are stuck at home so stuff like this does the rounds fast on Facebook and the like.

People who would never buy and read historical books will still grab some free stuff when its on offer; esp when they are stuck at home already.

I'm strangely nostalgic for it despite *never* using one let alone owning it myself. My first computer was a 486 and until then I had to be satisfied with the two hours per week Apple IIc split between school and the local library. Regardless, I don't think it's a good idea for modern server login hardware!

Thanks! I'll pass on the week especially given the login problems since I'm only peripherally interested in those and don't want to be the digital historical pdf equivalent of a grocery store toilet paper hoarder!
