Put me in the camp of not being a huge fan of diorama models. You want to add all that stuff as a “special edition” version of the miniature that I can use as a small display board? Awesome. But as an actual full in-game model I find it cumbersome and silly. On top of that, I find this piece in particular very underwhelming. It’s like, imagine if they finally released an “emperor of mankind” model, but he was essentially identical to Bobby G and just sitting in a regularish looking chair ... meh

I think the King himself is fairly bland and unimpressive, and the diorama around him is just kind of ... black. The whole thing feels very boring to me. Especially when you look at the diorama character for the Bone Reapers in Sigmar - still not a fan of diorama models, but that one looks pretty cool imo. Like someone else said, the Void Dragon would have been a better model for this imo.

If the Silent King was wearing power armour he'd have a model on par with Rowboat Gorrilaman and Abaddon, but he's xenos so GW just chucked some extra bits on a normal lord and made a diorama base to justify the price and called it a day.

I will respect human rights and trans people but I will never under any circumstances use the phrase 'folks' or 'ya'll'. I would rather be killed by firing squad.

Yeah, when i read the small novel that is the Death Guard unit options and think about resolving the attacks from a melee-oriented min size death guard squad, the thing that springs to mind is "Accessible!"

You're not. If you're worried about your opponent using 'fake' rules, you're having fun the wrong way. This hobby isn't about rules. It's about buying Citadel miniatures.

Please report to your nearest GW store for attitude readjustment. Take your wallet.
