And then I thought to myself, "Self, if you start playing AoF:S, you know you're gonna need a big army too." And then Max-Mini showed up with the shield maidens. Methinks the scale from max-mini is a bit different from Mantic...

WiP tactical grots! They need some details and their ultramarine armor, but I'm calling the skin done. Can I finish one project before starting the next? Of course not! In my defense, my wife wants to play heresy so I must commit heresy too!

They all have chain bayonets, the squig hound still needs paint though. I was debating the squig or the lash, but then I realized I can give the squig space marine armor too and the decisi9n was made.

Lovely shading on that green skin. I like that you're taking it that bright.

Thanks! I paintbrushed these so it's not as smooth as airbrushed skin, but they're so wee! I almost hate to hide the skin behind this armour, but this is a tactical grot squad, so they must become smurfs!

Tactical grots are armored up! I haven't decided whether to paint the trim on the cauldrons. Beyon that it's just touchup and the squig hound, and this tactical squad will be ready to do battle!

All decked out with chain bayonets, and a power weapon for the sarge.

Love these tactical grots. They look ready to take on all comers (at least until one of them gets shot and the rest panic, lol).

Thanks, guys! I just cleaned off my paint desk and have been doing some assembly. Da vulture has been mostly painted awhile and he deserved to be assembled. Also a ride for the tactical grots and some artillery....

Thanks, Gobert! For a simple quick paintjob I'm pleased with it. Next up - bikers! These guys are a pita to assemble but I love them. Of course I lost his head :/. I'll print a new one.

Here's the Banner Biker, ready for paint shop. Still assembling everyone else..

The little mini-trakk "bikes" are so much easier to assemble, though gluing the handlebars is a major PITA. Gonna have to do some bashing to get the "2-hands-on-thehandlebars" with the power fists - I really need to learn to digitally assemble.

Did one model as a tester. It's kinda meh, but for the amount of time invested, I'm satisfied.

Thanks! I finished up the slapchop lads and their ride hit the paint shop, but it lacks weapons still. Also painted up a gun squig tonight
