It's almost as if all these stats are part of the same formula but have different weights, right?

How about this:

Therefore, the number of attacks is the most important stats for attacking other units as their weight is 1. Every point added increases your offensive power equally and unconditionally.
Next comes damage, as its weight is also one, but extra points might become worthless if they are lost to overkill.
The weight of ballistic skill is 1/6, and their whole contribution can never be more than 5/6 (or 35/36 with re-rolls), which is still less than 1.
The weight of AP is 1/6, but unlike BS you are limited by both the opponent's save and the invulnerable save.
The weight of strength ranks last as it's weight is 1/6 and it's the only stat where one or more points added will only have an impact if you pass one of the thresholds.

So there you have it. Thread done

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.
