I couldn't recall if WW2 'desert pink' was actually pink. As you mention, it would quickly fade anyway. If anyone was really set on painting their
HH Marines pink, I'd suggest they do them in a faded and worn tone.
Also, most models don't match the terrain your fighting in. I've seen tons of really cool soldiers on snow bases... but have never seen a snow board.
True enough. That's actually why I don't do snow bases!
