I guess I don't see the invalidation thing as really that much of a problem. There's a lot of stuff getting resculpted right now, but if you're really shelving your Assault Marines after the release of Assault Intercessors with Jump Packs.... I feel like that's mostly a personal choice. Very little that's been removed doesn't work as something even if it takes a little work or rebasing.

With all due respect speak for yourself... My commitment to AoS is completely drained, after rebasing O&G from WFB to only see savage orcs and others discontinued and after investing strong in a new full army of Stormcast sacrosanct to be ditched with a flip of a coin in a new edition... thats not a "jump pack", "personal choice", or "very little".
No motivation to even care about AoS, WFB or Oldworld... thats how churn creeps in, it burns you.

I haven't paid much attention to AoS so fair point, bad on me. The Stormcast removals seem odd for sure. It seemed like it was likely getting resculpts early on but I haven't really seen that play out. AoS hasn't ever really managed to get me invested and while I don't think I've seen support dropped for anything in it, the rapid changes to army composition are definitely a part of it for me.
