You'd be shocked by just how bad a 'low-brow' British accent can be. Try the home counties, South Wales, Essex or the lower Midlands. Horrendous.
Also, we do have a Wal-Mart. One of my Uni mates drove to the one in Slough last week. Wal-Mart also owns Asda.

Theyre just dumb, like a deer. The inbreeding doesnt cause them to do anything more than want to lay their sister.

Cotez disapeared and Lysander got promoted. It does happen, GW worlds are not so static, time goes very slowly. well in lysanders case quite quickly, he got promoted from sergent to captien and then dead all in the space of 3rd edition to 4th. Tough break.

As quoted from "The Daily Fisitng: The #1 Source for the Latest Gossip of the Adeptus Astartes" TDF has learned that Captain Lysander has been transferred to the Dark Angels after an undisclosed incident involving his "thunder hammer" and several of the chapter's new initiates. Sources, who wish to remain annonymous, claim that Captain Lysander was caught attempting "unauthorized geneseed exchange" in the chapel rectory. "I heard that he was tranferred to the Dark Angels because they like, are a lot more accepting of that thing." said Brother Gaius's chapter serf who used to serve Captain Lysander his Protein Gruel. The accusations do not end there. Several battle brothers from the 2nd company, the 6th reserve company, and the 10th company have stepped forward to claim a pattern of abuse. "This is an internal matter and has been dealt with. Captain Lysander is on a crusade against the Vile K'nib in the Dorrian Center," said Captain Atticus, Commander of the Press Room and Captain of the 9th Company. The Dark Angles could not be reached for comment, but there are unconfirmed sightings of Captain Lysander on Thoria III sporting the latest in Ryza pattern monk dress and holding hands with Chapter Master Azrael of the Dark Angels. Apparently "Lysrael" have traveled to the death world to adopt new acolytes for a "non-traditional" chapter founding. EDIT: Oh, he's dead. No wonder the new DA codex looks gimped. Azrael just hasn't been himself since Lysander died. And don't diss Wally World. They may be a cold heartless corporation that dumps all over the little guy, but they provide two wonderful services. 1) They save me money, and 2) every time I go in, I feel better about myself. Nothing boosts your self esteem like a 450 pound, balding, middle aged woman wearing a Larry the Cable guy T-shirt and stretch pant making eyes at you.

Why, only the other day I was biking towards Staines (a good half hour to my local model shop), and I took a wrong turn. ended up in a secluded street, where all the houses were boarded up, and had caravans outside. Oh yeah, and the place had a palpable aura of terror.

My uni halls had a whole row of gypsy caravans outside. it had a few burnt out vans aswell. It was quite scary since we were surrounded by gypsies on one side, drug dealers on the other and forest on the rest. EAST LOndon can be quite scary in places. It remided me of A hive city like necromunda.

he's not dead as per current fluff, if your read his entry in codex Space Marines it explains the massive time gaps. In third edition he was Sergeant Lysander attached to the command element of 2nd company, around 20-30 year later he was promoted to the captaincy of the 2nd after capturing an eldar cruiser. During the siege of Haddrake Tor the majority of the teleporting 1st company terminators scattered and the captain of the 1st was teleported halfway into a rock they chose lysander for promotion to 1st company captain.
at some point afterwards he disappeared into the warp with a contingent of Imperial Fists and was thought lost for roughly a thousand years. all the while he was actually being held prisoner by Iron Warriors on the demon world Malodrax. he managed to escape and after returning to his chapter was put through 2 years of rigorous psychic and physical evaluation before being re-appointed as first captain, after which he led Imperial Fist fores back to Malodrax and crushed the Iron Warriors there.

Must be the 4th ed one, current doesn't even mention him on that page. Then on his actual page, 91, it mentioned that he was thought dead when the ship the Shield of Valour went missing. They added his name to the list of their fallen and he had a statue. Then he showed up one day, a thousand years later, ship got wrecked and he was captured by the Iron Warriors. He escaped and unarmed and unarmoured managed to fight his way off the planet and started a crusade against the Iron Warriors that's still going.

He is not dead, nor at all mentioned on page 47 of the 5th edition Space Marine Codex (That page is dedicated to the War for Armageddon).
He is however mentioned on page 49, as well as on his own character page down on pg 91, which detail him being lost to the warp on board the 'Shield of Valour', then re-emerging near the Iron Warriors stronghold Malodrax. The Iron Warriors then held him and several surving brothers of the First Company and tortured them for about a month before they broke free and made their escape. Upon his return, subjected to many purity tests, before being re-instated....if you want the full story, it's written in the codex, page 91 .
The codex dates his return to the Imperial Fists in the year 964 M41, and the scouring of Malodrax in 966, so for the codex to be in-line with itself, his return must have been late in the year 964. My guess is they decided they wanted to do the independant characters to give each Chapter their feel and rules on the battlefield, and felt Lysander was the best fit for the Imperial Fists, so retconned the previous fluff into a medium they could shove this story into.
