The wolf guard are looking good.

Your Terran fleet is also looking nice. One question however, is the quality of their resin good, or is there a lot of flash and such?

I haven't played any games, no one here to game with, sadly.
But the rules looked quite solid in the book.

I really enjoyed the models, but they have their issues. Quite a lot of flash, and some airholes around the edges. But given the price is so cheap, its pretty forgiveable. And as you can see, they end up looking not too shabby

Yeh my friend who owns the shop brought the same starter pack and started to assemble/paint them and they dont look all to bad.

The game itself sounds interesting with the moving terrain aspect thats involved. Just gotta get a few things done first before i move onto yet another army (or fleet in this case)

Stunning Wolves too BTW, props for not using the standard grey for the fur and pelts.

80% done on my first Hordes model.

My first time ever trying to paint skin, or basically anything thats not a space marine or vehicle.

So be kind!

Looks great, but my only waring to you is try not to spend TOO much time on your hordes as you have to lay them down and all sorts of stuff that will hurt the models and make you upset when they get damaged.

I intend to just use tokens to mark knock down on the models, not actually put them on their sides

Cool, I joined your blog. And the ship I named it Odinson.

Kaya looks good. The skin is a bit flat on the arms, but the vibrant green of the armor and the red cape make that up.

And definitely use tokens for knockdown etc, I have never put my models on their side when playing WM/ Hordes. They are too nice figs to do that.

Hey Roleplayer, for a good skin tutorial I think that Lbursley's Dark Angel marine on youtube is the best I've seen so far.. you should check it out.

Wow, that is... Just wow. That has to be just about my single favorite painted fig ever. The colors and the shading is just perfect, and that has to be the best face/eyes I've seen. It's so good even *I* can't bring myself to poke fun at it!

Yeah, I had to spend about 2 hours greenstuffing to even get it to apply.

The face is also not that great of a sculpt, with a HUGE forehead, thats thanksfully not visible from a tabletop view.

And don't worry Miss, I used your name on the second Battleship, I'm just not taking any photos till my terran carrier arrives, and I paint it and add it to the fleet.

I appreciate those warm comments, Aduro.
But I still feel I can do much better!

The face blew my mind. I hate painting faces and that just is picture quality! I think its the eyes that seal the deal.

Since you're the one I know who's got one of these and has it painted up... What's the deal with her big club arm? Is that a gauntlet with an exposed hand at the end or what? None of the pictures I've seen have really shown what's going on there.

It could be some sort of shield?
