You get the four starter humans in the game and four named human survivors (Adam, Anna, Aya, Paul) with survivor on Kickstarter.

But if you just get the game (retail or the Kickstarter pledge) you just get 4

So we should get to see two updates today. It made it from 500k to 535k overnight, that's nuts!

Wonder what the 525k goal was, since we never saw a teaser for it.

Kingdom Death Fanatic. Dark Eldar: Kabal of the Fragile Breath. Dark Elves: Allegiance to the Black Crown. Also, Masons, Cygnar, and Legion of Everblight. All unnamed.

Holy gak that is an awesome username. Please tell me your army is called Kabal of the Fragile Breath. Morathi's Darkest Sin has some competition here for best handle, I think.

There are also 4 "unarmored kit" models, in addition to the 4 starting survivors. So, you can run a game with 6.

But I am wishing for 6 of all the armors, too- hopefully it will make it into Survivor.

There was no 525k goal, but a 535k goal, which was just knocked down (Regeneration Suit?).

Generally, I'd expect stretch goals to keep stretching (no pun intended). I think I heard someone saying new stretch goals for another + ~10% of the current amount is a good rule of thumb for Kickstarter campaigns (and by that rule, KD would be putting them in faster than average), simply because there are already more people in the pot, a % of which will up their pledge for a new stretch goal.

Reaper finished with stretch goals some 200K apart, and they still got knocked down in mere minutes in the end-craze.

You get four starter humans, you also get the unarmored kit in the box because of the stretch goals, which are basically 4 extra starting models (2 male, 2 female).
The other two, adam and anna are more like 'special characters' from what i understood, with their own rules and perhaps even mini scenario.

edit: ritides got it before me, i should learn to hit refresh before posting

and edit again just to clarify: the four extra unarmoured models are an upgrade to the base box, so everyone who buys the box gets them, regardless wether you get the 100$ pleadge, survivor or buy it later on.

475K - An old favorite
500K - Game Expansion
525K - Something Sleek

That's why I said that, that was from an earlier update on the kickstarter.

I am just wondering if Adam is keeping in mind a total price to get all "game content" add-ons.

At this rate, it's going to be rather high. And while I love the look of this game, once I go past $300 for what is ostensibly a board game... I don't know, it starts to sound crazy!

Sooooooo yeah... I just sold my Rhulic to help fund this, but I'm usually "all or nothing", so if I can't get all, I get drawn back towards nothing...

Funny you should say this; I find that these expensive addons are kind of having a negative effect on my willingness to spend. I went into this with a BF Survivor, seemed like a great deal, and I quickly added when the expansions started rolling in (wow, a dragon for $30, sounds good to me!). Then the Manhunter made me up my pledge slightly to an even $300. But now I'm sitting at $300, which I kind of feel has to be my maximum here; the minis are gorgeous, but it is foremost a boardgame, and I actually never buy boardgames that I haven't read a couple reviews for. And the thing is, there's a whole month to go on this; I'm sure there will be a bunch more awesome expansions unlocked... and this has kind of got me thinking along the lines of 'well if I can't get them all, perhaps I should skip expansions entirely', and I've actually seriously started to consider lowering my pledge and just going with the basic Survivor package.

I feel pretty silly feeling this way, because the deal I'm getting is as good as a few days ago when I pledged for it, but... yeah. And I don't think this Kickstarter is badly run or anything; in fact, Mr Poots seems very responsible with what is put into the stretch goals. But perhaps all these pricey options kind of clash with my particular mental configuration or something, I dunno.

No, it makes sense... I think the Survivor pledge also had an expectation that it would get some additional items from the stretch goals, and I think it will. But most of the recent stretches have been pay-to-play, making the Survivor not feel Quite as awesome as it did at first blush.

I still think it's a great deal at the moment, and if you're in this for game-content-only (as I think I will have to be) then the only add-ons that have gone towards the cost have been the Flower Knight, Dragon, and now Gorm.

So that's $85 additional out of the $300 allotted (if you're setting your max there as you mention, and as I am).

So there's a decent amount of funds left to allocate towards further game expansions. It sure would be nice to see Survivor get a Game Content item free, though (rather than models that can't be used in the game)... or, doubled every armor eventually to make it a true 6-player game for armor upgrades.

But while I feel the same way, deciding to pass on the Gorm really helped me here, and leaves me with only the Flower Knight and Dragon as paid add-ons, so I've got $126 left out of my max $300 pledge to try to get any other game content that gets added. Or, if it's too much, just the content that I like best, I guess.

Yeah, I have international shipping cutting out a chunk too. What I was looking at was BF Survivor ($130), shipping ($45), dragon ($30), flower knight ($15), Gorm ($40) and the extra bases ($40)... and that totals up to $300 exactly. But those bases will have to go at least, and perhaps I could drop that freaky Gorm guy too if/when other stuff shows up...

No, no free shipping at all

(Shiping to Canada is reduced to $30 for any game box level but that's the only reduction)

If you pledge $300+ you qualify as a 'Herald of Death' and get the Manhunter expansion ($20) free though

Well if you were on the fence about getting the Gorm getting the regeneration suit included with it for no extra charge may just change your mind it effectively makes the Gorm $25

Still recovering from the half a million shock!

535k? Wow!

Hope your ready, I still have more! One nice thing about being a one person operation is that there is so much content I simply never had the chance to release! It is looking like this kickstarter might just squeeze all of that out tho!

We have unlocked the optional Regeneration Suit and as many of you have guessed it is indeed a Gorm Armor Pinup. However, when the artist and I started to work on it we ended up simply arming her in the skin-tight Regeneration Suit that is an in game piece of gear. Normally its meant to be worn under armor and so there is no miniature that represents it, so this seemed like a great excuse to do just that! She can be added as a reward in plastic for +$15 or in resin for +$25. I have a fantastic sculptor lined up for her, but work on her won't begin until jan.

Since we will be moving past the Gorm now ( my first big monster, big place in my heart ) I wanted to give an extra gift to everyone that is pledging for the Gorm Expansion. As a kickstarter bonus gift, I will be including the Regeneration Suit with the Gorm Expansion for anyone who wants it! I will not be offering a trade in on this, sorry. It's just too complex. So its either a, yes please or no thank you. I hope you understand.

LOOKING AT 585K NOW! Hopefully you guys won't destroy the goal before I get a chance to eat dinner and work on the next gameplay video! Still working on making the rewards clear, it all needs a bit of thought and I want to make sure its finally clear. So thank you again to the people whom have been kindly explaining it to the new people coming to the kickstarter.

The 585K small expansion will be added to the reward pile for those Herald of Death people, mainly because they are just so badass. The herald of death is a title people whom have pledged over $300 automatically get. They have given this project a ton and so it is trying to give back!

This is awesome, you guys are awesome, time to go shovel food into my face! YAH!

Oh, I read it wrong. International shipping "counts towards reaching $300" making you a Herald of Death. 10-4.

A great stretch for Heralds of Death

Free Regeneration Suit Pin-Up if you get the Gorm Expansion

and Free Lion Knight Expansion to come (so I don't have to 'drop' another pinup yet)

Fine, Poots! I'm keeping my survivor reward, and I'm planning on taking the Dragon and Flower Knight. However, I am going to up my pledge to $300 total. I'll determine exactly what to do with the extra $100 when all the dust has settled.

Wow, just when I was complaining a bit about things, he sweetens the deal for $300 backers. "Free" Lion Knight and Manhunter... yep. It rocks.

I don't think the regeneration suit swings me enough to get the Gorm. But we'll see how many options there are at the end to allocate the $300 towards... I have a feeling it will still be the lowest on my list given how awesome the other monsters are.

In regards to Starting Survivors,

There are currently 4 starting survivors and two "unarmored" miniatures that you can use to easily create 2 more miniatures for a 6 player campaign. At this time I am unsure if I will extend past the 4 iconic survivor characters.

Kickstarter Deals & Expectations

Kickstarter is a crazy thing. It's also a pretty amazing thing thats happened in this tiny man niche. It's quite a balancing act between, communication, feasibility and expectations. Expectations being the hardest of all. This project has been my dream and I've worked long and hard to make it real. I can only sincerely ask for everyones understanding when it comes to financial realities, while on my end I will uphold both a serious sense of responsibility and generosity.

Thank you.
