I know I have to be overlooking this but I cannot see anywhere in the rulebook that suggest a crater is formed after a vehicle explodes like in previous editions. It may have been removed completely but some clarification would be great!
I see rules for buildings that suffer a detonation result leaving a crater, but it does not look like a normal explodes for vehicles does anymore.

To me it looks like you just place the passengers (if a transport) where the model used to be and that's it. It would make sense to put a crater down but it looks like that may have been removed.
