Anyone know if GamesWorkshop wil continue to support the Brets? I had heard a rumour that Brettonia was oging to be discontinued.

Hard to say for sure, the only answers you will get at this point will be speculations and wishes.

My wish is for the Bretonians to continue being supported, either by themselves or part of the Empire (that would also be nice)!

My speculation is they will still be around and supported because, 1-they used Bret minis in the wood elves trailer, 2- I've seen a mini of a knight of some sort on foot that looked a lot like a grail knight (on foot???) and 3- The wood elves army book make a lot of references to Bretonians and Beastmen, both books still needing an update. Will they merge with empire (I'd rather have that) or be their own thing (fine also), I do not know, but I still believe they'll be around for a little while.

Like Cloud said, the nods at the moment lean more towards a big brettonia update rather than them getting squatted. That said the rumour mill has nothing reliable either way. Anyone that says they will be dropped has no more solid information than anyone saying they will definitely get a big update.

Personally, I'm in the camp that thinks they'll get at the very least a nice small update a'la Sisters of Battle, as I see it as highly unlikely they will be dropped all together. There is just no point in dropping them.

I very much doubt that they'll get dropped. There was a big uproar over the Squat episode and GW are clever enough to not repeat that. People still buy Bretonnians, no matter how small of a section of the GW franchise they've become. If you drop them, that money goes away. They may not see an update in a while, they may get moved to mail order only, but I very much doubt they'll be dropped altogether.

I think an update should be due fairly soon, possibly after Orks. The Bretonnia Book is apparently "no longer available" on the GW store, so make of that what you will.
