I've been doing really good with drop pod assault. I equip my grey hunters with as many flamers as possible for anti-infantry and overwatch, throw defensive grenades when I can, and pop things open with my long fangs. Thunder wolf calvary also can be useful for support where I need it. Ill try to post my usual 1500 point list in a little bit

I've tried it once, but don't think it made much difference if memory serves me well. I think its best to hold off on those because its saving saving you 60-100 points
