So, I had an idea to make a chaos list, but ofc I wanted it the way it used to be, with demons and marines together. As well as something lest conforming and ordinary to paint and model.
So I came up with this list. I'm in love with the FW models so there are a few of those in here as well, especially since escalation.


Anyway the idea of the list is mostly to be a slow and purposeful list. It's battleforged and so I benefit from everything being scoring. With high toughness units this should make the game really interesting I think.
I was a little torn about the daemon prince. I really wanted a higher toughness, and was considering running a great unclean one with a nurgle batch as a second, secondary / allied detachment but have initially chosen against it for modelling reasons mostly.

I was also slightly torn in regards to which army to have as a primary. I really want to use the 30K Typhus and his terminators as their 40K equivalents while I also wanted to use cultists & Zombies, though I am tempted to just run zombies and save 20pts forsaking
their shooting. I also want to run plague marines, so if I were to make daemons primary this would cause some issues, and I don't yet want to delve into an unbound list.

I wish I could have found the rules for plague ogryns and perhaps looked for a way to include them. I like the idea of big bulky plague bearers, high toughness abominations rolling across the table, its quite interesting to me. I also hope to make use of the summoning
spell to make up for the lack of troops I have (even though I'm running a 30man unit of zombies, its not that much when they die in droves.)

Other things to note....
Kinda counting on iron arm and the two greater gifts to make the daemon prince have improved invuln and an extra wound, or one of the two would be nice to try and bring it up to par with the other greater demons.
Never used blight drones before but they look really awesome >.<

I came up with this alternate 2000pt list based on models that I like, no idea how good it would be, I feel like I should have bulked
my troops out more but at the same time trying to keep in mind that I will actually get to summon plague bearers without little to actually
stop me. Considering its not targeting any opponent miniatures and there are no such things as dispel scrolls, even if I summon two
units a game or so I think it will bolster my troops enough.
Average toughness is 5, but there are a lot of 6's there. I like the attention seeking special rule of the beasts of nurgle, though no idea how effective they
will be. For the spawn I also like the idea of using the Plague Ogryn miniature for them, like running flesh golems down the battlefield. The stat-lines are
basically the same as well as the base type but I really cannot / do-not want to try and figure out a way to include renegades in this nurgle army, especially
as a lot of them can't have the proper marks.
