The Tzeentchian Shrine is a tiered/hill terrain piece about 18" across and there are steps leading up to the top. The shrine is basically the relic/idol from the Warriors of Chaos War Shrine with a Tzeentch Icon. The hill itself has snowy pine trees scattered on it and provides a 5+ cover save. I figured that this terrain piece is cool because a Chaos player can do some sort of ritual on top of it, while any other army will gain something from Tzeentch whether were looking or not..

Tzeentchian Shrine
: At the beginning of your turn, a single friendly Character or Independent Character within 2" of the Tzeentchian Shrine may inspect it provided he is not in combat or falling back. The model chooses a Boon listed below and takes a Leadership Test using their own unmodified Leadership. If the test is failed, no Boon is gained and the model suffers a wound with no saves of any type allowed. Boons last until the beginning of your next turn.

Boon of Conquest: The model gains Preferred Enemy and Split Fire.

Boon of Slaughter: The model gains Hatred, Rage, Rampage, Feel No Pain and Furious Charge, unless it is a follower of Tzeentch.

Boon of Stoicism: The model gains Fearless, Adamantium Will and Counter-Attack.

Boon of Arcana: The model adds +d3 Warp Charge to the Warp Charge pool. No model dedicated to Khorne may choose this Boon.

Boon of Fate: The model re-rolls all failed To Hit and To Wound rolls. In addition, the model re-rolls failed saving throws.

What do you think? My goal is to have a Boon for a variety of situations. For example, an army with a psyker would be happy with extra Warp Charge, and a simple Tactical Squad on an objective might enjoy Split Fire and Preferred Enemy (since those confer into the unit). Also, that same Tactical Squad might enjoy Fearless and Counter-attack if an objective ends up being near the Shrine.

Why would the Tzeentch shrine grant a boon that can't be used by Tzeentch worshippers?

Because Tzeentch might be doing a favor for Khorne? For the moment....

Which Pool does the Arcana add WC to? Your own? Both players'?

Also, it might be better to test for this at any point during the Movement phase, rather than the start of the turn.

It's advantageous for Khorne, but why deny the bonus to Tzeentchians? It's pretty useful for them too after all.
