Second Eldar model painted. I struggled pretty hard with painting the white. I found using water to thin worked better than medium with white scar. Any pointers would be appreciated. : )

Very clean looking. If you keep that up, you will have an excellent looking army.

Looks very nice, the robes are great. If you want to push yourself, you could try and freehand some runes or patterns on the back of the cloak.

If you do go for that, be sure to thin the paint and practice the pattern first.

But even without that, it's a great model.

What kind of brush would you use to paint those little runes? I'm not sure I could pull it off with what I have.

In general, so long as the brush has a fine point on it, you should be ok with it. Obviously, use the thinnest brush you can, but the most important thing is the tip; it needs a point rather than a flat or splayed end.

The other key is to thin the paint, you want it to go on without 'jamming' the brush; ie. there should be as little 'drag' as possible.

Also, one large-ish rune would do it, just something to break up the block colour, which, while nicely shaded,is begging for some freehand.

Thanks for the tip I need to hunt for a better brush.

Nice Wraithguard. Again, the paint scheme very clean, which is great.

Cool stuff, and the gems are amazing. I do think it could possibly do with some white to really tie it in with the other units. Maybe a rune or two inside the black lines?

Nice work.
