Something I realized after I posted this message:

I do not know of any SciFi Winged Hussar models. In the linked post, I attached a picture from Puppet's War's FB page where they had previewed one a long time back, but there has been nothing since. I know of at least five different model manufacturers in Poland, and not one of them (that I can find) makes Winged Hussar-style models for SciFi use. Why is that? I would love to do a Winged Hussar themed army in 40K.

So, what say you, Dakka? What theme or style of models do you feel is sorely lacking in your futuristic wargames?

"You listen to me. While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I am a naysayer and hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King. My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you Sheriff Truman." - Twin Peaks

Some of the Space Eldar models are based on Winged Hussars. Another proof of GW's awesome original creativity.

There are two ranges of ponies already on Kickstarter. If you contact the creator he might do cyber ponies.

I would like to see a range of the "Rame" out of SPI's Star Soldier. They are intelligent telepathic slime moulds who can move around individually or gang together into larger groupings to concentrate their firepower.

The models would need to be moulded in clear plastic, ideally with vacuoles and other sub-cellular structures, plus add-on equipment packs for weapons, anti-grav and so on. The range should include multi-soldier groupings.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

The theme I'd really like to see done, for sci-fi and fantasy, is the ordinary Joe. If someone were to make a sci-fi civilians box like the Wargames Factory Zombie survivors box, it would be awesome, and make a killing with Necromunda/Deadzone/sci-fi RPG players.

A multi part plastic space ship sprue would be great for themes I'd like to see less manga and more Heinlein/Asimov inspired power armour.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.
