I walk a lonely road

This is a model I cobbled together from bits the other day, purely for fun. I wanted to try painting something different, and Alpha Legion is a scheme I'd wanted to try for a while. Combined with some hydra-like bits I had lying around from some Inq28 conversions, and The Wanderer was born.



The Wanderer has wandered the galaxy for longer than he can now remember, and has long since lost sight of what he is searching for. Some reports have him aiding Imperial forces, others the Arch Enemy, and others still report nothing more than a lonely figure, standing in long-dead battlefields, before going ever onwards in a quest for some unknown goal.

The cape is cool and nicely done.

Personally, I would have toned down the freehand though, the amount of it that you have makes the model a bit too busy as it stands right now.

I was thinking of getting rid of the XX on the shoulder pad, as it's on the chest as well, so I may well do that. The reason I put it on the chest plate was to break up an otherwise very flat area.

That looks good can certainly see he has travelled a lot during his lifetime
