The command elements of my in-progress Ultramarines army. Lots of freehand, heraldry and kitbashing on these.

First off, we have the Captains, Sicarius and Agemann. Sicarius was converted from an AOBR Captain with some random bits and the helmet crest from Anvil Industry.

Cato Sicarius. Master of the Second Company:

And Captain Agemann, Master of the First Company:

I need to re-wash the hammer and tidy up the freehand.

And now, the Command Squad, the Lions of Ultramar:

These are mostly from-the-box, the only conversion is the Champions extra Combat Knife to make him look more like a duellist.

The Champion:

The tabard needs re-doing, it's a relic from his previous role as an Ultramarine Company Champion (yes, the whole squad were repainted, but I missed that bit )

The Veteran Sergeant:

The Apothecary:

The Meltagunner:

The head needs redoing, I think.

The Company Banner:

My first real freehand on this scale, and to be honest I'm pretty happy with it. On the table, it looks just fine.

The Librarian and Chaplain, kitbashed:

See the gallery for more, including group shots and other angles.

Thanks for looking, and comments and criticism appreciated.

EDIT: Forgot the Dreadnaught, and he's not happy about it:

Thanks guys!

I agree the paint is a little thick in places, it's because these guys are currently on their 3rd paint scheme and I didn't strip them in between. I'll be the first to admit these are far from my best models, but they look good enough on the tabletop.

As for basing, no idea really. I have upwards of 300 painted models that need basing and I've never really thought about it, so at the moment it's just black bases for all.
